    LMN will be visiting Bennett Woods Elementary School in Haslett, MI to run a take-apart clinic as part of their annual STEAM Night. 

    Students will be given access to tools and will be given the opportunity to explore and disassemble electronics!

  • Intermediate Woodworking - Adirondack Chair

    The Adirondack chair is a simple, classic American chair design that offers many opportunities for variation and creativity. This class will use one design, but will spend some time exploring some of the ways to vary the design in making their current or future chairs. No woodworking experience is required.

    This is intended to be a family friendly workshop. A parent and child (age 12 to 17) may attend for the cost of one ticket/one chair.

    This class will take place in two 3-hour sessions on a single day, with time for a lunch break in the middle. Participants will get an introduction to the Adirondack chair, learn how to use the tools involved in building their chair, and then fabricate, assemble, and finish their chairs. At the end each participant will have made their own Adirondack chair.
